  • No Hitch here, move on

  • Anyone who starts his argument with the "WHO HERE IS FROM X??" to solicit a lot of cheering and whooping, should automatically lose the debate. They also deserve a fucking knitting needle to the eye.

  • @jq747 Fantastic

  • Dude lower your voice. This is the exact same opening speech, not very creative.

  • @pheonixking52

We can all be excellent debaters and win every argument if we are prepared to lie to people who simply don't know any better and fear science too much to confirm if what they are being told is correct.

Now let me say that again.. Turek lied throughout this debate, and I can demonstrate that to your satisfaction.

Do you doubt it? Would you like me to go through it with you and explain where he is lying. If you confirm those lies yourself what would you think of Turek?

  • @pheonixking52 Almost everything he said was either a misquote... or untrue..

Would you like me to point out where he deliberately lied to you? and explain WHY they are not only lies...but how I know, that he knew, they were lies before uttering them?

I'm guessing you'd rather I didn't do that... but I will anyway as an example below this comment.

    The man is a cur!

  • @dragaoastro69 Well this is the crux of the matter... if one can shift responsibility for ones actions to pleasing a god then clearly one is free to do things like say ... shoot an abortion doctor...or crash planes into buildings... and claim it was 'the will of a god' ... rather than man up and admit that one personally dislikes abortion, or homosexuals, or Americans...or whatever... and shift responsibility to a God.

Personally I take responsibility for my own actions...

  • @martinbuzora Well nobody knows what initiated the universe... but we do actually know that particles and energy are 'right now' being created and destroyed .... (which was his question)

How that happens is rather complex...and it is also known, but not open to an explanation in 500 characters... (see quantum field theory)

But where you might look that up... for no reason other than curiosity...he won't. If he did then it would remove another excuse...and he's running out of those!

  • @LPD31314 The words 'before' and 'universe' aren't compatible with one another... how can there be a 'before' to something that gave rise to time itself?

Seriously... silly questions get a silly answer ... your answer there fore is 42!

Nobody said the universe was derived from nothing... but since we are on the subject the current universe as it stands does indeed create and destroy particles from literally nothing... assuming you understand the math.

  • 2 Peter 3: 5-7 "5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."
