Mandelbrot, the Structure of Time or Entropy 101

This is a short segment of a Mandelbrot fractal I recorded with JAME fractal viewer for mac os x. I used this as my structure for the entirety of the video, cut and pasting the segments in iMovie. I then apply filter after filter, till by the 50th segment I have around a hundred filters on each clip. Match the BPM with the segments of video and then use an audio program, Reason 3 in this case, to create an audio representation of the video.

This was an installation for my sculpture class. I projected it in high res using an lcd project. The projected video was about 20 feet wide and met with the floor. I had my classmates and teachers sit on the floor in a 4x5 grid. The music was projected through my Logitech Z-4's placed behind and left and right of the viewers.
