The movie's story line does not exactly follow what happened in reality,if you are interested about it read the book "All The Shah's Man".

im sure mossadeq and his followers killed the previous prime minister, i understand that the country should be free from the west interference, but he should think rationally about it, he should think about the repercussion like going against the west would cause their people to starve to death, workers won't be paid and they can't feed their family the country's economy would be paralyzed, that is not you go about revolution or reform, you must think from both ends.

I am from Iran and I have read the book. I do not know any Shamira in Pahlavi family .There is a twin sister called "Ashraf" to Shah. She is still alive and Mohamdreza Shah father has told her " She is the only man in the family" and Shah's father loved her more than Mohamadreza shah. She is still Alive. There are rumors about her being very cruel, manipulative and involved in drug dealings. I am guessing that Samira is actually Ashraf but they couldn't say it due to legal stuff.
