@minniemoochaxxx That's right, you are contributing to an industry that condem animals to live in cages and you came to me preaching me about wildlife and insulting? You are a pretty cynical girl. Ask your budgies, they might prefer to be dead that living as your toys. DAAH

I love how angry people get when they find out where meat comes from.
I've got tons of Muscovies living near my house, I think it's time to grab my old fishing net.

He shows respect for the animal he is about to kill, and that's how it should be.
if anyone hates this video, maybe you would prefer watching battery farmed egg production, or factory cow slaughter?

@OctopusStewie Well written. I assure you she had a good, free range, life "before she was called for the table". The guy you were responding seems very concerned about putting hot boiling water over the dead body of a duck but I bet he never questions that the chickens he eats never go out of a box, the paté he eats are ducks killed by cirrosis, a dog's natural habitat is 25 square kms and we raise them in cities... This is a world full of cinism. Watch videos about animal care in this channel

@GlitterQueen83 Sorry to say this, but he was talking to her all sweet and such so that she could have a nice and sweet last few moments. Would you rather him cuss at her and abuse her before the deed was done? You all eat chicken and beef. What do you think they go through. They are tortured, and dont even step foot on fresh grass or breath fresh air. Im betting she had a pretty good life before she was called for the table.

Your duck looks very clean after you plucked her, how did you remove all of the feathers and hairs? I have processed two muscovy ducks and could not remove all of the hairs and feathers as well as this video demonstrated. Is there a certain method used for hand plucking?

@mhuffman0805 Just drop them in a bucket, with boiling hot water over them. Leave them for a short while and try to pluck them while they are still hot;-)
