Every time I watch this, I cry. Not of sadness, but of happiness. We are so lucky to live here, that one can find so much beauty in such a small and seemingly insignificant piece of rock orbiting an uninteresting star, in an arm of average galaxy.

Everything is beautiful. This puts our place in the universe into perspective. I for one have never felt small and insignificant looking at universe, the galaxy, even just the Earth, for all of us are a part of it, a part of something beautiful.

What an honor it must be for the members of Sigur Ros to have their music associated with the pristine beauty of planet Earth. I could think of no other music, from the top of my head that better suites itself for this imagery. Sigur Ros and their music are without definition. I would love to be able to describe the emotional connection I have too it. But, fear that the words would be vain and unworthy of the majestic music I am describing. Simply Amazing.

Can everyone please cut it with the environmental crap. Humans are not a parasite. We were made here and it is only natural for life to progress in intelligence until stuff like us happens and its not a bad thing. Were on the brink of a technological revolution and that's a beauty in its own right. Also for all we know aliens could have created earth, though probably unlikely. Point is we don't know shit about the universe, were we came from or anything so don't say were "killing the earth".
