This is part 1 of "How to make a vintage 1950's apron." I created this simple apron design because I love the 50's and putting on a cool apron makes house chores a little more fun.
This apron is gathered so that it has a slight fullness to it. I used a plain white cotton fabric for the body and Michael Miller's "Home Economics" fabric in yellow for the border, waist, pocket and ties.
