Frank's Mug

This film won 2nd place as voted by the audience for the Virgins and Rejects Film Festival in SF.

This film is based on a real customer that comes into the coffee shop i work named Frank. Interestingly, a couple weeks after we wrapped filming - the REAL mug Frank uses was accidently dropped by an employee. the real Frank seems to be ok with it....but will we ever know for sure???

This film was shot at "The Grind" coffee shop in Redwood City, CA. The owner, Scott, also owns a movie rental store which is attached to this coffee shop known as "The Movie Groove". if you look closely you can spot movie references in this film at the cafe itself. the names of their coffee blends AND the mural painting on the wall. AWESOME place.
