@Invincnerd I believe you are talking about the context in which the song is played. And yes, that can be just as important and the song being good, but if you can make your own context, than you can sometimes enjoy the song just as much or even more without knowing the original context. It's quite enjoyable, really.

I wish someone would extend this version. The only extended versions are the PS2/Director's Cut and the ones from Radiant Mythology/Namco x Capcom/Narikiri Dungeon, and they're good, but the original is special for me.

@Invincnerd I'm so fucking agree with you!

In all honesty, the music isn't that fantastic.
BUT
When you put it together with the story, the character, the tragedy, this music becomes more than a beautiful sound. It tells the entire story and his struggle.

I'm deeply inspired by Leon. I am tatting him on my body. His story is moving.

ill never understand the japanese infatuation with boys dressed as girls ..good song tho

Leon will never perfect without his battle theme.

Lion / Leon....only wanting to protect Marian, he fought untill the bitter end of ToD1 in his believe. I remember the cave scene where he tells Rutee that they are actually brother and sister. He said he won't even hessitate to kill his sister, Rutee, and the others to protect Marian, but I think it was still hard for him to fight his friends. If only the group would've realized how evil Hugo is....many things would've changed. That's what's so tragic about the battle against Lion / Leon.

Even in ps1
this game is sexy

Technically it'd be spelled Rion :P Although the "R" is actually pronounced closer to an L...
In japan his name is spell Lion but also pronounce as Leon

But it's the soundtrack for the PS1 version. Plus, they don't sound THAT much different.
