At the Cold War Air Museum in Lancaster, Texas nobody bothers to deep fat fry turkeys. Instead they deep JET fry turkeys.

Here's the ingredients:
One 14lb turkey
One L-39 Jet fighter
Three feet of safety wire
One pair of oven mitts
One engine stand
One copy of the Top Gun soundtrack.
Ear protection.

Cook at 95% RPM or EGT (whichever is higher) for 2-3 minutes. Season as required to get rid of the jet fuel taste and it'll be "Just like mama makes!"

Happy Thanksgiving!

  • My microwave is faster.....test FAILED

  • @dergrossen Umm it wasn't a test. Besides, everyone knows that ever since roughly 1991 you can't take anything seriously that has the Top Gun Anthem playing in the background!

  • @ToobZombie This is a Czechoslovakian aircraft. And you and your God shall keep pilots from the meeting with a Russian fighter in the battle:)

  • L-39 «Альбатрос» (Aero L-39 Albatros)

  • That's probably the only good thing Russian fighter jets are good for.

  • ROTFLMAO!!

  • @SemperApollo Yeah..I was being mean..hahaha..happy holidays!

  • Should have used the MiG-23 or the -21 and kicked in the AB to give it that golden brown color!

  • @Salvati0n friken pathetic..must be on a fuel budget..

  • Should have used something with an afterburner rather than the L39 :)
