Hayley insists she goes to Jeff's house, she tells him hes falling behind and gets him to drink more. Really, this plot is completely original and i love it. These guys just dont like it cuz a guy gets tricked and thinks his balls are getting cut off.

I can't stand this fucking movie. Beneath the photography, set, lighting, so on, it's just another exploitation flick depicting vigilante justice. A concept that's been recycled over and over. Other than that, like most horror and thriller movies, this one lacks logic. *spoiler* If I were the man in this movie, I would've wasted the girl before killing myself first.

the sound track to the film sends chills down my spine, for all the right reasons. so does the intense and uncomfortable dialouge between haley and jeff. an outstanding film than baptised me to the powerfull genre of dark films with a hint of innocence.

for anyone who enjoys this, I whole reccommend "let the right one in" a fantastic vampire horror which redefines the genre and is ultimately suitable for those who hate horror and gore.

these are 2 must see films IMO.

Hostel was more fun than Hard Candy? How much is wrong with that sentence??

First of all, Hostel was an awful slasher movie, and completely different genre, and secondly, Hard Candy is not a typical fun movie.

The script was origianl and really flips around most of the preconceptions about strong female leads, not only this but it really blurs the line between victim and wrong doer.

This was a thought provoking and important film, and this review completely soared over most of the content
