I'm An Asshole: San Andreas [Version 2.0]

***NOTES***

Back in 2005, inspired by a video of this song set to a collection of 'Halo' clips, I created the original version of the "San Andreas" version of this video. I didn't know about YouTube back then, so by the time I had uploaded it, I discovered that several people *cough*Combat*cough* (kiddin'!) have beaten me to it. It started out as boredom, but turned into a surprise hit, accumulating well over 1 million views total on various websites. This year, I decided to give it a slight upgrade. Mainly by re-recording all of the video clips for better quality. There are a few other changes as well. For example: I have used a lot of new clips, as well as a few from the first video, all of which were re-recorded, as stated earlier. I have also moved the credits to the END of the video instead of at the beginning. Because who wants to read the credits before a video? I don't. And of course, the best change of all: no FRAPS.com watermark at the top of the clips!

I want to thank everyone who has enjoyed this video. Whether you saw it on my profile or otherwise. The supportive and approving comments far outweighed the ones that basically said "this vid sux lol!". (I did notice that a majority of those comments came from people on Myspace. Just sayin'). So yes, i'm glad so many people enjoyed the original version. I hope you will enjoy this updated version just as much, maybe even more!

You're referring to the "Version 2.0" text, right? I made that in Photoshop, and saved it as a transparent image, and imported it to the video editor. It starts as invisible, and I quickly set it to fade in (so it looks like an instant appearance), and shrink into place (the text was really big originally, and I used the video editor to scale it down).

After that, I just used a sound effect I extracted from Half-Life 2, and played it.
