George Jones was on my bucket list..saw him in concert in Coeur d' Alene casino & the Yakima Convention Cntr. Plus I have his 50 yrs Anniversary DVD, just awesome...he sings my life!!

The voice aint what it used to be, but it still beats anything that runs up against it.

George should have added one more line to this song.
If you've ever turned on modern country radio and heard a song without heart.
Then you've heard a song thats sung without George. Godbless The greatest country music singer to have ever lived. Its a shame what has became of country music and country music radio. And to ever other genre of music too in my opinion. Guess the only way to hear good true hearted music of any kind anymore is to hunt for it in the past. And leave modernradio.

What a beautiful beautiful voice , emotion and heart in abundance, especially at 2mins when he sings "if you've watched as the heart of a child breaks in two" .....listen to the way he phrases the words " as the heart of a child"... my goodness that is a very special man with a very unique voice.
George thanks for being there for country music and your fans all these years,we all love ya .
