A message from Windsor Drive:
If you have attended a Windsor Drive show in the past you know that we like to perform a cover song here or there during our set to spice things up a bit. Anyway, we decided to take it one step further this time and try something new. We present to you our very own recorded version of the 1980 number one hit Sailing by Christopher Cross. The music of Christopher Cross has been a huge influence on us as individuals and collectively as we write Windsor Drive songs. After tracking the song, we thought to further demonstrate the emotion of such a powerful song it would be cool to shoot a video for it. Daniel Cummings, a great friend of ours who has worked with fellow Wisconsinite Bon Iver as well as regional artists Tapes 'n Tapes and Mason Jennings, was approached about the idea and shared a passion and creative vision for the song. To some of you we hope this brings back memories of those days many years ago, and for others we hope this opens the door to new music! Check it out... Sailing.

This music video and the cover of the song is so beautiful just like all your other songs! You guys are amazing! Seeing you guys play live at Warped Tour and meeting all of you guys was just unbelievable and to have been able to sing along to your set, im just so very grateful ! I now just jam out to your cds at home all the time but it just can't top the experience of seeing you guys live, hope you guys come back to Canada soon! (:

my friend introduced me to these guys, and when we went to warped tour in mississauga, ontario, we went to their merch table and got to meet them :) they're all super nice dudes, and talented musicians. i kinda regret not buying anything at their merch table now cause i really like them!
