Done in 60 seconds: Toy Story (Empire Competition)

We made this for the Empire magazine Done in 60 Seconds Competition.

People have commented that the Buzz toy is tanned, brown, black, etc. Well, yes, he's not the colour of the original toy as the manufacturer of the later toys used a different plastic and colouring. Get over it.

Jake and I spent three weekends putting this together. We used iMovie, GarageBand for ADR, PhotoShop and Flash for the title graphics and Buzz advert. Most of the sound effects and music are from the iLife library.

The hardest part was trying to get the lighting right. Toy Story is very sunny and it's still cold and grey in the UK. The camera also doesn't do night shoots very well.
