In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI released the apostolic constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus. In it, the Pope outlined a means by which Anglicans (individuals or entire parishes) could come into full communion with the Catholic Church, while keeping elements of their spiritual and liturgical tradition.
