@TheWombatLover nope, with many video games, especially older ones, probability values are usually under the powers of 2 because thats how binary operates. programmers get to control to what power of two the values will use, and will only use that function to keep things simple when possible. 128 = 2^7
computers start their count at zero. thus the 1/128 chance of getting the sword is basically programmed as (2^0)/(2^7) = 1/128
