A Happy Betta Fish

This is my male Veiltail Betta, T-Rex, in his 3 gallon Eclipse tank.
I HIGHLY recommend this tank for Bettas! This is the minimum size tank they should be kept in. Just because they CAN live in less does not mean they SHOULD! This tank is excellent because it has a great Bio-Wheel filter built into the hood which is very quiet and causes very little current. It just ripples the surface of the water and does not knock the Betta around even if he swims underneath it. A 25 watt heater fits in perfectly (stick it horizontally near the bottom) to keep temp at a nice 79-80F. The hood has a built in florescent light to show the Bettas colors nicely.
You can clearly see the Betta is very happy and healthy. The tank can have a couple plants and a small ornament and just looks so much nicer than those tiny "Betta prisons" or ugly small bowls.
