Make a wood doormat

Here's a really simple, but functional and sturdy redwood doormat. It is made with one 2x6x8 foot board and held together with 8 screws. I used my Kreg jig, but you could fasten it any way you like.

@SuperFruitsmoothies Good observation. For the doormat to function you would need to turn sideways to the door when wiping your feet.

why didn't you run the slats horizontally so the edges "grip" the dirt from shoes ?

@SuperFruitsmoothies I thought about that, but wanted the strength going the other way. As it is, not a lot of dirt accumulates on it.
