my problem isnt that minecraft lags (it gets 120 fps on all settings as on and on fancy) but it lags my other programs WHILE it runs. wen i run minecraft my yutube videos get 2/3 fps compared to the normal 30 fps and my web browser (google chrome) takes about 5/10 seconds to open a tab, compared to instantly when minecraft ISNT running. idk how to fix this but it happens on every pc i have, including and i7 and gtx 590 (which shouldnt happen)

i have a $400 USD laptop from walmart that can run a minecraft server with 10 ppl on that does not lag. This is 2011
