Hope this asshole is gone along with that idiot mcconnell..two useless s.o.b

First he says "We have to deal with this in a responsible way."
Followed by "The idea that CO2 is a carcinogen, that it's harmful to our environment is almost comical."
Since when is making shit up being responsible. No scientist calls CO2 a carcinogen. He's Speaker of the House and yet clearly doesn't feel any obligation to get his facts straight. He's a ventriloquist's dummy with a coal/oil executive's arm up his ass. Amazing, for a head made of wood, he looks almost real.

Wonder if Boehner would wear a CO2 mask if its so good.

We don't want to raise taxes and we are afraid we may lose jobs. They don't want to regulate carbon. The GOP does not want to really do anything

@Bomyster3000 said "From the looks from these responses many people believe that CO2 is a harmless gas that doesn't do any harm."
Agree 100%.
Oxygen is similar in that we humans need about 18-20% of it in the gas we breath, but 100% oxygen would be poisonous to us (not to say an incredible fire hazard).

To call John Boehner an idiotic fool is an insult to all idiotic fools everywhere.

@slotstik With this new carbon tax your "country" will cease to exist. Why? Because that global carbon tax will effectively bankrupt any and all viable sources of energy in this country. The technology "so they say" is not there to power this country any other way besides coal. That is unless we go nuclear.

From the looks from these responses many people believe that CO2 is a harmless gas that doesn't do any harm. CO2 provides food for plant and ocean life but large amounts of CO2 can disrupt the cycle of carbon intake and oxygen output. In resulting dying plant and plantain life. Not all CO2 emission are absorbed by plants and ocean life, the residual CO2 goes to the atmosphere and trap heat. Which creates severe weather patterns! (basic science people)!!!

How could anyone vote for this orange bullshitter. He is everything that is wrong with politics in America. You're talking about my country. It's not a fucking game, asshole.

The orbit of planets isn't remotely similar to the movement of electrons. The atomic force is completely different from the gravitational force. Electron orbits are determined by mathematical function that describes the wave-like behavior they demonstrate, and even that has a good deal of uncertainty. They almost never follow a path similar to planets, and absolutely none of this is in any way falsified by thermodynamics.
