Nice to see a vid of this car, how the tires hold up??

Pls answer ur name is Tamiya so I was hoping u might know a good motor for my tamiya tt01i am willing to spend $80 on one. I just need a good suggestion so that it's not to powerful still fast though and easy to handle.
(40k/h is a good speed for a tt01 or can it go faster?)

zondasome ,
for the tt-01 you better use a good 21 turns touring car motor.
or a tuned Tamiya motor .
And ad a ball-bearing set in the tt-01 and maybe some oil filled shocks for better on-road handling.
Hope this will help you out.

8000mha wont fit in the f103 chassis 4000mha/5000mha maximum.

roonygy,
That will blast but I think it wont drive very nice .
This 5,5 turns make the car very nervous.
I have driven it now with a lipo battery .
And speeds exceed the 93 kph for sure.
So what if you put a 3,5 turns in it .
I think it is going to fly.
Good luck with it and put on a movie here.
Cheers Alex

@neuershit Thanks it was with a 3600mah nimhi battery and a 19 touth pinion it should go like a rocket with a lipo battery.
