Senator John Edwards speaks with me from Chicago on Sunday, July 15, 2007.

In this segment, we talk about CNN/YouTube debates, his additional online forum after the debates, and whether he thinks third-tier candidates should be excluded from the debates.

  • your videos are ghay. thank god for you that YouTube/Google is an online media branch for the ultra-liberal wing of the Democrat Party.

  • yea...........he said that to me as well..on that thing with the stuff

  • I'll be labelled partisan and/or a conspiracy nut for this (which is true), but if you REALLY wanna start to have smaller fora, Dodd and Gravel should drop out, for starters. I honestly don't know what the former stands for (except to take up space) and the latter is so incoherent that he's clearly a plant to distract attention from/marginalize Kucinich and his agenda, that it's ridiculous.

  • Nice one asking him about the exclusion question! His answer, while nice in principle, is essentially a rewording of what he was caught by Fox suggesting to Hilary. Who would determine how to divide up the groups and how would you reduce the size while putting frontrunners AND "secondary" together in a fair manner. He and she have yet to address those issues.

  • I don't get why I got a subscription update for this video, I have not even subscribed...

  • should have given John a gamer's headset.

  • Rather than have fewer people in the debate, just cover fewer issues at one sitting. A debate on healthcare, another on immigration. This would provide an opportunity for more depth, rather than sound bites. Plus it would feel more democratic and not reek of "old media" exclusionary tactics. What do you think John? Will you attend? I'm sure James would be willing to moderate...

Great job James. Keep the hard questions coming.

  • Excellent job. Top notch. Wish you'd carry this attitude to KoteckiandMcMillan.
