Scotch Bite

If you've ever gotten a mosquito bite that itched so bad that you couldn't sleep, then this video will help. Just take a piece of Scotch tape and tape over the itch, and the itch goes away!

Why? No one seems to know for sure, but my theory is as follows: When you have an itch, your body is sending a message to the brain, saying, "pay attention to me!" When you scratch, you're overriding that message, but as soon as you stop, the itch starts sending the message again. Putting the tape over the bite sends a constant counter-message, which stops the brain from feeling the itch.

I'm mostly making this stuff up, but I do know that I've used this more than once, and it stops the itch every time.
