Triang Hornby 'The DMU's & EMU'

Featuring: 2 x [early & later versions] Triang/Hornby R157/R158 DMU's 6 car rakes plus, R156/R225 5 car rake. All in mint-to-pristene condition!

I have turned-down the wheel flanges on a small lathe...on the power cars to enable them to run OK on Hornby series 6 and equivelent Pico/Lima track etc too.

I don't know how many times the EMU went round with one of the coaches' wheels hanging-off before derailment! [spot the wheel at 1:29!].

This is my temporary layout and it's a bit 'round & round' for the moment! I have pinched every inch out of my small spare room for now with a view to moving everything into the attic/loft in the New Year [2012].....hence no ballast, grass, sceenary etc yet.
