Feb.5 - April 25, 2010 Canaday Gallery at the Toledo Museum of Art. This compelling exhibition features 73 iconic and powerfully moving works by the late African-American photographer Gordon Parks. Parks was the first African American photographer for Life magazine and also freelanced for Vogue magazine. Parks captured a cross section of the human experience - from wealth to poverty, fame to obscurity.
The video features Tom Loeffler, Toledo Museum of Art's assistant curator of works on paper. This touring exhibition is FREE and sponsored by the Capital Group Foundation, the Cantor Arts Center's Hohbach Family Fund and members of the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University
