Once and while my cats get a bath. Cats naturally very clean but a extra bath helps. Our cats enjoy the experience and love the clean feeling after. The key is to use very warm (little hot) water and have the bathroom door closed to make keep the room warm. Use cat shampoo only, be quiet while bathing the cat and NEVER wash their heads/faces. Cats are very sensitive on face/head so it's best to leave that alone ;)

  • Very smart, I find very warm water does work best when bathing a cat, it's like night and day. Sure the cat might not like the bath but it' s not (to them) freezing. Too many people think cat= lukewarm bath and this is where the cat freaks out, to them that is ice cold!

  • @Raiderhater1013 : Can't agree with you more ;) . It really is like night and day!

Yes it is, first time I gave one of my cat's a hot bath they tensed up ready to fight. Put her in and she did grumble and cry but allowed me to bathe her. I did wash her head but with a washcloth and she allowed it, and now all I have to put up with is softly swearing cats but they do not fight or try to get away!
