did u have the battery mounted on the underside ?

@Kpilot786457 you could use it but don't try any inverted things.... or use the collective pitch until you master normal flight...
-
eh, do you recommend this as a first heli or not?

I have a G2 and have had no problems with it. I wonder why your motor locked up. I've probably put more than 40 hours of combined flight time on mine and have had no problems. It's fun to fly but I would much rather have a Genesis 450 :).

I assume you mean a larger size, if you fell comfortable flying the Msr, I suggest a Ninja 400 which is actually a 300 size, or a Belt CP. Both are low price and reasonably stable. I will post a flight of my Ninja in the near future

Goodness no, this is a collective pitch for more skilled pilots. A good heli for first time pilots would be the E-Flite SR 120, the best one for a first time pilot is almost any coaxial heli, but I started with the E-Flite CX2. A better one these days is the E-FLITE MCX.

@bastion87 Thanks man, I am doing even better with my flying these days, just now starting to try inverted...that is tough. Sadly, this helicopter didn't make my cut, it broke too much and burned up motors, so I sold it as parts.

why you don't fly upside-down?

Because I am learning normal flight still; however, I have started inverted flight and once I can do it (without crashing) I will post those flights too. Thanks for viewing my videos
