Sylvain Luc at JazzFest Brno - tuning guitar then smoothly changing to alternate tuning

Here Sylvain plays with the low E string, then leaves it tuned low and plays with alternate tuning. Quite amazing for me, that his guitar handles so well when downtuned a lot. What kind of kitar is this anyway, anybody knows?

I sense something very deep in his music, although I assume I don't fully understand it.

Saw him first on this concert, on JazzFast here in Brno and he was just incredible. One man that produced so "much of the music" using only his guitar. So true tone and expression, you have to see him on the stage :)
