A short video of hill-top monitoring with the Kenwood TM-281A VHF mobile ham transceiver. A couple of the stations heard were behind the hill and thus sound somewhat funny.

  • Great vid. Very clear sound and the scaner very fast. The display light is orange only or it can be switched to green?

  • @navonechile For this model, Kenwood went with the orange display. The scan rate is very fast. I just wish it had more than 100 memory channels.
