Summer Holiday (Guitar Instrumental Version)

Here is my instrumental cover of the song "Summer Holiday" which was a #1 hit for Cliff Richard & The Shadows in 1963. It was the title song of the film of the same name which starred Cliff with Lauri Peters, Ron Moody and The Shadows. It was written by Shadows guitarist Bruce Welch and drummer Brian Bennett.

On this one, I played my Fender Stratocaster (Middle Pickup) and a Zoom G2.1Nu unit programmed with Charlie Hall's EFTP (Echoes From The Past [Patch A9]). I recorded via USB to my laptop and used Cubase for recording and mixing. The backing track was created by Jeff Daniels and came from from here - http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/

Thank you for such kind comments. I wanted to do the original version as I tried the Hank Marvin version and I just couldn't make it work. I prefer the original as it's very lively
