@zadeh79 flying is something you should be in-touch with frequently; one lesson a week is about the maximum gap you should give between lessons...there's a lot of material that's covered and it's a good habit to be familiarized often with the knowledge/behaviour of the aircraft. A lesson or two per month is too large of a gap - you'll have forgotten what your instructor has taught you in your previous lessons. Cost wise - it'll be the same either way...the prices are pay-as-you-go.
