'He judged this city and found it wanting'

When making this film I actively sought out imagery that offered refuge and escape from a stifling city during the middle of summer. The footage moves backward and forward between shots that frame and isolate an image, to shots that establish the image within an environment. The purpose behind the film was to emphasise the differences between these images and the messages they deliver when viewed within the context of such a dissimilar environment.
