this video was made shortly after i really started crossposting seriously n working with a rescue in massachusetts... these r some of the first pups that i saw lost.. that i crossposted like crazy, n that i was heartbroken when i saw that they were gone... the 2 shelters that r located closest to me r no kill n actually work with rescues n a foster home network... it still baffles me that there r high kills out there that make it so hard 2 find homes for these babies, n r so quick 2 kill. :(

Yes, shelters are full ,Yes, rescues are full, people from out of state should be allowed to adopt if they can get the animal or transport the animal or if there is a chip in for any of the above. The vetting , if needed should be the same for all states in stead of charging higher rates for people out of state wanting to adopt and time should be allowed if there is interest in an animal. Quit trying to hit a quota!! or do you all get a bonus for who kills the most animals.

I think the so called" shelter manager" should have to sit with each dog through every single execution and experience the torment that she inflicts on every dog that she scheduls for the day .. every day, ALL DAY until it stops !!!

I had to listen with the sound off because the song would have made me lose my s**t...AGAIN...at work. I follow the progress of dogs out of this hell hole and it is more sadness than happiness :-(

The animal control should try and place these dogs in rescues, why would they do such a aweful thing when there are so many rescues out there and also in new york

In only five days, so many beautiful dogs just......gone. Senseless.

ACC is a disgrace and a blight on NYC. Shameful.

This video is a tribute not only to the dogs killed by the brutal NYACC shelters, but also to those in the rescue and adoption communities who try to save them. Please remember that most surrendering owners have no idea that their local "shelter" is likely a kill shelter. This is why I support the No Kill movement. A No Kill shelter would have marketed the heck out of these gorgeous dogs and found them the fine homes they deserved.
The rescues are full. They need more fosters and adopters. 8M+ people in NYC. COME ON NYC STEP UP FOR THESE DOGS!!
and TY for the comments
