This is a vinyl copy of a very rare version of Kingsley's Popcorn performed by T.I.C.
Released in 1988.
Posted to display yet another version of what is probably the most covered record in the world!

Sorry for the shocking sound quality. My ol' record player is litterally held together by bits of sticky tape.
I'll upgrade when I am feeling a bit more flush. :)
Hehe, you want lo-tech? You've got it!

  • I've been looking for this for ages, I used to have the original 12" but couldn't remember the remix title ... cheers for uploading!

  • @dcanmore

    No probs. :)

  • well i coud recomed you the same thing i did with mine.remove those 4 rubber knobs on the steel platter (because they're not even.which makes the vinyl record bendy...which makes your tonearm jump) and place two old records if you have some...or maybe two CD's and on top of that plase the record(which you'll play)..then you can remove the coin from the stylus, cuz the tone arm doesn make problems .it's from the platter :-)

  • @GeorgiMl

I could give removing the rubber bits a try but the platter isn't steel on my one. It's very cheap black plastic.

  • man, i have the same "Watson PH700" and it works great... and i don't know about the stylus jumping off the track, but you should not add weights to the arm like that...it really damages the record...totaly scrapes the sound of the grooves...love the mix though!

  • @GeorgiMl

You must have been luckier than me.

This thing was pretty naff when I got it... turntable rumble giving that gargly quality and the arm jumping the whole time.

When I complained to the seller I got no response.

Attention was not forth coming. ...even when I "tootled him with vigour"! XD

    I hate the thing.

  • this song became a world hit in ONE WEEK well the original then

  • Love vinyl. Love vintage. Thank you.

  • If you want a better version I have the 88 remix, woodstock remix and b side over on my channel.

  • Quality is shocking, but in a good way.

  • @davbob -Thanks mate- for years a wondered if that was just made up for the track

  • can you make a better video with better sound?

  • about the sound quality, find an AMP with PHONO input. Take the signal from the phones jack so the enternal speakers will mute..Or if you dont have phono amp use an Equalizer...with the EQ lower down (a lot) the high frequences and some of the midrange, and boost alot the bass (Low Frequences)...you can suck out a lot from that cheap thing beleve me CHEERS :-)
