I just noticed that the "wax wall" literally IS made of wax, or at least something similar. If you notice at the bottom, the wall's "melted" onto the bedding. Where one would get such a substance in prison, especially that quantity...Uh, mid-game retcon, I guess.

I like how the main character took the time to label the thermite bomb with "THERMITE!", complete with exclamation point. I have to admit, I would have never remembered to label anything if I were in a situation like that. It's good to know that there are people who remember all the details during a crisis.
