You'd have to wonder what the pigs eat, considering all their available food choices are sentient, but the ending kind of answered that one for me.

So, the potatoes live in a sort of hive society, much like ants. Each potato serves a different job, from the noble Soldier Potato to the Food Potatoes that are bagged and devoured by the populace. Especially lucky potatoes get to be fermented and bottled into delicious Korean vodka so that everyone can remain happy and free in communist society.
