Drones Over America

"A majority of Americans support some civilian uses of unmanned drone aircraft but routine policing, such as watching for speeders, isn't among them, a new poll shows. The Monmouth University poll asked survey participants about four potential law enforcement uses of drones. Some 30,000 drones are expected to be in use in the nation's skies by 2020, according to one estimate. The vast majority of those polled, 80 percent, liked the idea of using drones to help with search and rescue missions. And 2 out of 3 respondents also supported their use to track down escaped criminals and control illegal immigration on the border. But survey respondents strongly opposed using drones to issue speeding tickets. Just 23 percent said they supported employing drones for such routine police activity while 67 percent opposed it...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

Here is the major difference. 5-8 hour flight limit vs 24/7 for 2 weeks. Small arms like AR's, DMR rifles vs Hell fires. Second you must be into voyeur cause no one I know would want someone watching them outside 24/7 for there own safety. Its redundant. Cost effective or not. Id rather have those 30,000 drones be 30,000 more officers so when I call for a 1st response I don't get a 2nd response with a body bag. Which seems to be the norm.

Further more what I NEVER hear any of you people babble about is the Use of Disease on the American Indian! Biological Warfare on Native Americans, the Sterilization which has been done with Native Americans, the "Suicides" were the person is Shot IN THE BACK!

Why didn't they include what percentage of Arab-Americans have privacy concerns about this? I bet that number would be above 90%. It should be. The Department of Homeland Security racially profiles the hell out of Arab-Americans.
