A Risk is calculated as the total negative Mentions for the Brand divided by the Total Mentions for the Brand.

Risk Mitigation is tracking the actions to help mitigate risks from the community. The Risk Mitigation ratio is calculated for the company and competition as the Negative Mentions divided by Activity by company marketing to address Risk and Negative Mentions.

To help with mitigating risk and targeting collaborative risk mitigation campaigns, a Top Detractors list is presented, tallying for the company, each of the competitors, and for the competitors as a universe (across all of them) the users with the most negative sentiment / highest risk.
