Chaconne in a minor by Weichenberger for Baroque Lute. First piece in my recital at the Lute Society of America 2008 summer seminar. Audience members included Bob Barto, Paul O'Dette, Ronn McFarlane and Pat O'Brien. No pressure at all!!!

  • @guy6552 It is from a collection of works by Weichenberger published by the Lute and Early Guitar Society of Japan (can't post links here but google "LGS lute"

  • god the action on that things looks unplayable

  • Quite the opposite. Due to the tied on adjustable frets it is extremely comfortable. The bass strings that are off the fingerboard are never fretted.

  • @kidneykutter why do they give frets for the bass strings them? I love these rare old intrements. Im a guitar player but im very verstile. I blend jazz, classical, rock, pop, metal and more into one sound that is easier for the everyday listener to grasp. Im always looking for a new sound that puts people into an uncomfortable position but balance it with a social comfortable style if that makes scene.

  • @Guitarstring187 Since the frets are tied on, they need to traverse the entire fingerboard
