@sirjames45 Idk if the pilgims and protestant were sarcasm but the whole Puritains had were trying to purify the Catholic church. The Protestants who, might I add, Martin Luthor started in I think 1517, began to open their eyes and hearts to Jesus instead of a higher preist than common people if you would or the uses of indulgences. @xxtruthbetoldx cont the blood of Christ. Yes God hates sin just as much today as he did back then but Jesus took Gods wrath on himself and if you repent your sin debt is wiped clean. Again we are not under the old testament law but the new testament law. We are to preach the Gospel and let God take it from there.

Now, God still hates all sin but since Christ went to the cross we no longer have to follow those laws. Also when you show the punishment for a crime you show the severity of said crime.
