  • The skiff has been sold, Now I'm repairing a 20' Simmons Sea Skiff

  • @g1antst3ps If you don't mind my asking, what kind of marketing did you do besides this video? You've had nearly 7000 hits in a year; I've had just over a thousand in three months. Did you buy ads via AdWords (Google) or something similar? Thanks

    Stu

  • @19Stu54 7,000 in two years, no adds . How much does your skiff weigh?

  • Metomkin Islands, Eastern Shore of Virginia, US on the sea side, 37 46' 03.60 N 75 32' 34.58 W

  • nice looking rig.how is it with no rocker at the bow?does it bow-steer when you hit a wave?just curious.

  • @scrubitkook Thanks for the compliment, there's an inch and a half rise in the bottom from about 2/3's the length to the bow and handles very nice. Jeff

  • @g1antst3ps You can see her by searching my handle 19Stu54. She took me three years part time, and I had the USCG inspector in the shop three times, so everything is by the book--level flotation foam, etc. I modified the design to suit the rocky shores of Cape Cod, with a closer frame spacing and double planked bottom. So, around 1150# fully fueled and loaded, but the 40 hp and trim tabs get her up and flying with throttle to spare.

  • im in hebron md is there anyway I could come down to look at this?

  • I have the plans, it's down the road a bit for building, but I like it! ...Skiffwilly
