I live in Upstate South Carolina and it concerns me how no warning was issued for five minutes when a tornado was on the ground and a professional meteorologist was calling in warning the NWS. A warning should have been issued when the guy reported a rotating wall cloud. I feel really safe.
I just watched all 3 videos & absolutely amazed. What incredible raw footage but also very scary. You're very good at what you do, & I am glad to know that there are chasers on our roads like you. SC is no stranger to tornadoes.
This three-part documentary is one of the most amazing I've ever seen, since it documents your observations in real time, the chase, and the scary power of a tornado. Your instincts were right-on, and I think you showed excellent judgment in rendering aid to this unfortunate family. I'm so sorry these people lost their home but very grateful that they fared no worse. I wish them a speedy return to normalcy. I'm glad there are chasers out there like you and your compadres. Great job.
I just want to thank you so much for this video....the young man with the long sleeve shirt is my nephew. That night was the scariest night of our lives!! and your video helps us to understand a little better what Tyler went through. Thanks again and be safe out there!
