You stupid asses . Dogs saliva is cleaner than a humans , and thats why they lick their own wounds . No matter what they lick , like their own balls or something its still clean and is a disinfectant . Dogs lick your wounds to clean them . Since babies are developing their organs LIKE THEIR IMMUNE SYSTEM ORGANS a little bacteria from the dogs is perfect for the babies body to practice and develop upon .

@crackparty Wow someone who knows what they are talking about, I want to add just something slightly to it. Its the species of bacteria, most of the bacteria in a dogs mouth is dangerous to humans, but is suited to live in a dogs body environment, and not suited to survive well in the human body. You are correct however that it is the licking of wounds and the reopening of closed wounds that cause the biggest issues.

I know the difference btwn dogs and people. U don't. U think a dog is equal to a human. U probably buy clothes for ur dog and talk to it. And ur dogs licked u because ur lazy parents didn't feel the need to wash u regularly. It's about EXPECTATIONS!! I expect my dog 2 behave properly and will not accept any less!
