@TRJ22487 for some reason I feel like it was an NBC game from 2002, but it might have actually been in 2003. I remember Scottie Pippen making a horrible inbounds pass for Portland that cost them the game on the same night, but can't remember if that was against the Lakers or Mavericks in '02 or '03

Who was it and which year was it that John Stockton attempted a game tying three that bounced high off the rim, and appeared to be coming straight down into the basket, when somebody on the Jazz attempted to stuff it down through the hoop, unsuccessfully, not only resulting in a goal tending call, BUT THEY NEEDED THREE POINTS! Why would you make any attempt to interfere!?! I feel like it was Scott Padgett that made that bonehead play. Jazz might have won the series as underdogs if not for that
