Viper 5900 Remote Start/Alarm System Sounds

These are the chirp sounds of the after market Viper 5900 remote start/alarm system. Arm/Disarm/Alarm Sirens/Another Cold Start.

it cuts off in 30 seconds and then goes off again a few seconds later....it will continue to sound until it is unarmed with the remote.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have this very same viper alarm remote and all. I went on vacation and when i came home and started me truck it was dead. I jumped it and it works fine but now my remote is giving me attitude and talking back and wont mind. It only chirps but does noting. I have put in a new battery just incase but that was not it. have any ideas

yes your car will not respond to your viper remote at all if the system is in vallet mode...does your car lock with the factory fob?

lol ohh sorry I was trying to sound technical FOB is simply the remote...lol the thing with the Lock/Unlock Buttons...lol

I changed the battery and mine wont work now. I dont have the orginal key fob for the car which sux. What did you do here?

@MBPC21 You mean "disarmed" not "unarmed," I think. I'd have to say these things should be banned. Who calls the cops when they hear one? I always assume it's another false alarm - which is about 99% of the time.

Alarm remote starts in NJ "system addicts" have a wide variety of alarms and remote starts like Viper,clifford & Astrostart just to name a few.

So, what if someone is attempting to to get in your car, the alarm cuts off in "30 seconds" and they get inside, what then?

@papitosax81 its just the viper siren, how loud it it depends on where you mount it and how, you want it near the ground pointed down to echo off the ground
