  • India doesn't need MFN from Pakistan. It will only help Pakistan. There are no big billion dollar businessmen in Pakistan because it is a small country and it has no economy of scale, not because they are bad business men. India is going to give Pakistani business men economy of sacale by this deal and India shouldn't give that at all.

  • @ Starnebula100 Perhaps you missed the context. Listen to the talk of Sherry again she talked of MFN thoroughly explicitly suggesting that MFN is not much an issue and should be granted without making fuss.

  • I was hoping to hear trade issue, but they harped on Kashmir more than half the time. This does not bode well for Pakistan future.

  • Sherry is an asset to Pakistan. But people like Hamid and Zaid get more attention.

  • These guys disuss MFN status for India and WHAM, they are back on their favorite ice cream KASHMIR. Why cant Pakistanis have a honest independent discussion on any subject without bringing Kashmir into everything. And why does a retired General have to be there in a trade discussion. Dont you have intelligent people from your Stock Markets to discuss this instead of boo hooing about atrocities in Kashmir on a Trade discussion with India?

  • yeah they will export suicide bomber , pakistan's best export goods

  • The most critical thing pak needs for its survival is end to extremism and that can only be achieved by ensuring very strong civilian control over armed forces and intelligence. Less tension with India and good economy progress are the key for achieving this. Trade with India offers both of these benefits. It lessens threat perception about India and that can be used by politician of pak to divert significant part of military budget to infrastructure building in pak.
