Bodyboarder smashed into bombora reef | The Road

http://www.landandseasports.com.au Australian Big Wave Bodyboarder Brenden Newton gets smashed on a Bombora Reef 14 km out to sea at the bottom of Australia-- 'The Road'. Over 60 stitches later he tells his story.

In 2006, over 196 days, four Australian bodyboard riders traveled through five states and covered a distance of 27,000 km in search of big waves. They found plenty of big waves and were not afraid to take them on. 'The Road' takes bodyboarders and surfers along for the ride.

If you want to learn how to bodyboard these four guys take bodyboarding risks most surfers won't. In their pursuit of waves you will see bodyboarders getting smashed and staying out late till the sharks come out.
