My six year old brother took me to see this movie when I was four at out local Franklin Theater for 25 cents. I remember getting in trouble for misbehaving. A six year old watching a four year old....sheeesh. What were my parents thinking?

I was Billy's age or slightly younger when this movie came out, so I could relate to his feelings of wonderment and discovery. It was a great time to be a kid and movies like this fed our imaginations.

Anyone here ever see this move called "The Colossus Of New York", where the brain of the kid's father was inside this massive robot?

For some reason I can't help but think of this when I watch these clips. I vaguely remember this when I was little, seeing it on TV sometime when I was about 6 in 1970.

This is pretty cool now that I can understand it better, :)

Yes, it starred Ross Martin, who later played Artemus Gordon in Wild Wild West.

I always thought that should be remade as Wilde Wilde West, and have it about Oscar Wilde in cowtowns.
