The Quotes mentioned in this video are from the book "Day by day with Bhagavan" by Devararaja Mudaliar, date 18.07.1946. Devararaja Mudaliar lived at Ramanashramam from 1942 until the beginning of 1947. This book is an excerpt of Mudaliar´s diary about what happened in the Ramanashram between March 1945 and January 1947 and provides a good insight in the daily life in the Ashram.

  • Thanks!

    I went his aashiram in 1957 when I was 10. Now i 'm 65+.

  • @MrSivalogan

In 1957 my parents didn´t even know each other... I hope you can manage to visit the Ashram regularly.

I came back from the Ashram just 2 weeks ago - uplifting and meditative as always...

    AUM SHANTI

  • The great that got today of my life is from him!

    :)

  • Can someone please write what the mantra is? Thank you.

    Namaste

  • @13c11a

The mantra is "Om Namah Shivaya".

"Om" stands for all "divine" qualities like inner peace, love, bliss etc.

"Namah" can be translated with "I bow to", and "Shiva" is the name of one of the main deities/gods in hinduism.

Ramana Maharshi is said to have been very strongly related to Lord Shiva. Ramana once said, that the holy mountain Arunachala was his Guru (spiritual teacher), and he also said that Arunachala was Shiva himself.

Ths mantra in this video is sung by Yesudas.
