@Kimlea2008 Virgin Coconut Oil? Doesit help Alzheimers patients?????????????????
I've been fighting w/my daughter who is 17 & feels I might have it? But after today I think she might be right? I'm not the same person I was & have let things go when I was always careful before..But lately I got in to mess but don't understand why? My grandmother on my dad's side had it? Is it genetic? I'm 53 and scared!

@Godzie1 there is evidence that there is some hereditary factor in the development of Alzheimer's. i would say if you are having concerns consult your doctor, they can put you through the relevant tests. if it is in your family and you think that you my be showing some of the symptoms, i would go and get checked out even if it is for your peace of mind.

its not a common thing for a person who is 14 to have it, but there could be other things happening.
if you are worried about it go to a doctor its the only way you will feel better about it.
i are you happy in yourself and do you feel stressed out?
stress can cause us to feel distanced and also make us forgetful.
i would say go to a doctor and speak it over

My grandmother has not yet been diagnosed. She refuses to go to a doctor. She refuses to get a live in nurse. She lives alone. She forgets to eat. When she doesn't, she forgets to turn her gas stove off. She has a car, and she gets lost all the time. She lets strangers in her house. We are all worried, but she refuses any help at all.

i know in the UK you can get the Social work department to come in and help in situations like this.
i think in it is the same in the US they can help or they might know other governmental groups that can help in this situation
